The Other America-Speech by Martin Luther King Jr.
1.Describe the 2 Americas.
=One America is beautiful and innocent and the miracle of prosperity and opportunity which has everything like food and education. They experience everyday living happy and living life in the pursuit of happiness.
The other America has ugliness that transforms hope to the bad. Many man are poor and hungry that search for jobs. Many people feel living in this America with hatred. There are many poverty in this America. Kids have to grow up with a fog in their lives. There is a little hope with shattered dreams.Multi-cultural race lives in this America.
2.The radio broadcaster mentions this speech goes beyond the civil rights agenda. Give two examples why this is the case or the rationale?
=This speech goes beyond the civil rights agenda because this speech was least known and that its so provocative on the words he is saying. For example on the metaphors he uses to describe things and how he wants America to be with liberty and justice for all.
