Freed Americans went to Liberia because they are under Temporary Protection stated by the United States government. Thousands of Liberians went to Liberia/deported from the United States. Liberia is trying to maintain peace and is also trying to restore its destroyed land and deflated economy. Rufus Arkoi and Jacob Massaqoi merged as community leaders that will help Liberians to adjust to a new life in the United States, and is also often difficult for many refugees.

Jacobs group will try and help more Liberians in Staten Island the questions that i will ask Jacob is that, Is he here in America temporary or permanently. Another question is that, is any part of an organization? The African Refugee is a community-based program that promotes and develops crucial linkages between the African immigrant and refugee community.
